Many TE already know this place of the published photos here, this is one more for the collection but in shades of tobacco.

The Azenhas Do Mar is an old population, whose origins if lose in the memory of the time. Date, probably, of the time of the Arab domain the implantation of the first water mills, of sarraceno style, placing itself enters century VIII and XIII, the popular azenhas that had given to the name to the azenhas.Unhappyly some already had disappeared, distributed to long of the river until the a the Beach of the Azenhas of the Sea and were, necessarily, the floodgates that they defined the volume of the river, making to move the azenhas. This azenha, now recouped, ground cereals. Old, many were the existing azenhas and many were the millers who if dislocated here to first grind its flour and its cereals, this place until were called Beach of the Millers and only later, were Azenhas of the Sea

Hi Gonçalo,
This is a very beautiful place and a good description. Visiting Portugal is next on my travel list.. The colors are probably too worm for my taste.

Hi Goncalo,

The point of view is sending my eyes towrd the horizon which is giving depth to the composition. It is also showing the details and colors of the architecture of the building. You have captured well the power of the sea. The gradual tobacco filter has a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

mais uma vez o filtro tabaco transformou o cenário, que talvez fosse menos atrativo devido a luz e a cor do céu, numa beleza de paisagem dourada. bela imagem, já clássica deste local, que por acaso nunca visitei (e olha que conheço muito de ptgl)

A wondeful painterly photograph - really nice colours - the only thing that does not do it for me is the blue swimming pool in the village foreground. The tidal pol is excellent, but the other pool is too blue anad little too modern a touch. I love the moodiness of the sky and the horizon. Great shot, thanks, Iain

De nuevo el uso del filtro, hace de este bonito lugar, que sea ainda más espectacular. Me gusta mucho el lugar donde está emplazada esta villa, sobre los acantilados.

The use of tobacco filter has been judicious here adding a different dimension to this image. Good contrast between the green sea & the warm tones. The blue of the swimming pool is a definite strong focal point! Well done amigo!

Hi Goncalo,
the shades of tobacco make this already well known place very attractive. It is even stressing the atmosphere of the upcoming storm. Most of all I like how sea and heaven are going together in this fantastic horizon. A great capture!
