Photographer's Note
Another experience with footprints. This one without the element water, but with two footprints in opposite directions.
Once again, the way the shadow incide on it gives the illusion it "turns up".
I gave it a litle contrast in PS.

Quite freaky! almost as if somebody is standing underneath the sand ... then you realise the feet are in opposite directions. An interesting image!

Very funny, Artur! Once again, the illusion is quite good. Well done. I'll try it myself.

Nice picture and idea. I would have liked a little more contrast to make it perfect. Maybe it would be better to take the picture with lower sun.

This is a fascinating optical illusion. Perhaps a square format would be worth trying?

Amazing illusion...you've got us coming and going:-) You caught this with the exact amount of shading to create the effect.Once you find the indent version with your eyes, you almost have to close them for a while to rediscover the raised version.I must try this in the snow this winter.

I know what i will be doing this summer. Yes that's right. I'll be looking like a fool taken shots of my own foot prints in the sand. ;-) The illusion here is really good. Haden't you sad they were not "turning up" one could beleive that the laws of physics did not apply on this particular beach.

Optical test, that's what I'll call this good photo. Foot prints could be up and down !
Well done.

Foto muito criativa Artur, o efeito de relevo dado pela luz torna-a fantástica.
