Where the Land Ends, a photo from Beja, South

Photographer's Note

This Cape Sardão, Portugal. Portugal has an enourmous coastline and is very diversified in its landscape. As usual, there's a lighthouse on the top.

50 secs at F/20 + ND grad + Tripod

The composition was thought to make an S shape that leads the eye from the bottom left to the lighthouse.

PS: I appologise for the 500px larger side and watermark in the frame, but some unauthorized use has happened before in other websites (including mine)

Beautifuel landscape. But the colour of the skies isn't the best. For me it's a little dull. And photo looses some of its expression due to this skies. You know deep colour of the water, saturated rocks and then, what we see is this dull shade of violet:/

Pois é Joel, ainda esta semana foram detectados por um membro 4 fotos minhas num site... consegui contactar a pessoa que apagou as fotos... mas tenho a certeza que outras andaram por ai.

Excelente foto como sempre, embora ache que o mar tenha ficado um pouco estranho principalmente junto a parte de baixo.

That is a powerfull camera you have, Joel. Very carefully chosen scene. I wonder how did you calculate the exposure, do you experiment or do you have some rule of thumb?
