Vitral Church, a photo from Viana do Castelo, North

Photographer's Note

Up on a hill, about 5 km north Viana do Castelo, there's the Basilica. It was finished in 1926 and it's based on Sacre Coeur (France).

The fabulous Basilica it is in honour to Saint Luzia. Around the Basilica you will find beautiful and pleasant gardens. You can go up to the top of the Basilica and appreciate the amazing view over the town, the river Lima mouth and the sea, it is just extraordinary.
In the picture we see a close up of the one of the vitrals of the basilica.

hola manuel una foto muy simple pero efectiva. bonito detalle del vitral de la iglesia. me gusta la perspectiva. la definicion tambien esta muy buena, con colores vivos y fuertes. el contraste con el negro le va muy bien a la imagen. Buen trabajo. gabriel.

Ah...cuanto me gustan este tipo de fotos en los que las luces son de un gran contraste con lo demás. Me encantan y esta, por supuesto, no es una excepción.

Olá Manuel!
Excelente trabalho. A perspectiva em que o registo foi captado provoca nos vitrais uma distorção que em minha opinião valoriza bastante a foto. As cores estão perfeitas, a luminosidade é excelente e os contrastes com o fundo negro fazem sobressair a beleza dos vitrais.
Se não nos encontrarmos antes por aqui, votos de um óptimo Natal para si e toda a família. Abraço!

The exposure is excellent here (always difficult to get right in churches). The composition has good symmetry and the colours are nice and rich. Great work.

As capturas a vitrais são bem dificeis de capturar e consegui-o muitissimo bem e com um enquadramento excelente e fora do vulgar. Perspectiva dos vitrais em circular, com excelente luminosidade e boas cores, contrastando com o negro.
