Photographer's Note
This view was captured walking down from the Porto Cathedral. In the right side you can see Sao Bento 1800s train station famous for its ornate interior tilework. The building with characteristic blue tiles which you see in the very centre is Igreja de Santo António dos Congregados. The tallest tower in the left belongs to town hall.

Hello Mariusz,
What a good viewpoint you have chosen. We can see the line of people, leading us inwards and the street directs us effectively to the church frontage, with the lovely, blue tiled decorations.
Normally, that would be a stopper, but we can still see so many other eclectic buildings rising skywards.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Porto is an intriguing city to explore, Mariusz, yet, i felt like "at home" while taken a stride through.
Wonderful skyline picture, details are fine, clear and distinct under the favorable light.
Blue tiles on the facade of the S. Antonio marvelously shine through.
Have a nice new week,
Ike

Hello Mariusz,
This spot offered a great view of the city with a fantastic variety of buildings and styles. The tower also included some older and some more modern ones. The light was perfect and rendered the colours so good.

yes, we have some usual architectonic icons here, but the angle you choose is very different. the region of my ancestors are much more closer to Lisbon, but obviously they came from north 9 centuries before when the muslins were removed from this area.
take care

Hi Mariusz
hahaha...i know EXACTLY where you have take this photo from as i've been here twice in the past 5 years. and in fact, i have an almost exact same photo that i've been waiting to post.
you chose the best time of day with the light striking the church. Those blue and white tiles shine so bright, even from way back here. This brings back so many memories. love it.
cheers

Hi Mariusz.
Great point at a height to capture this splendid composition, ideal the perspective with the facade of the church adorned with tiles, the other old towers that we see and the modern buildings give a good vision of Porto.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; they are managed to perfection, in this beautiful image.
Very well done. I like very much.
You have a good day. Very best regards.
Luis.
