Photographer's Note
Porto is a very photogenic town. It has some elegant monumental architecture, charming picturesque corners and also a lot of unexpected photo opportunities like this one here. This scene was spotted while walking the famous Ponte Dom Luis I, amazing high level bridge over river Douro.

Hello Mariusz,
Every old town district has this labyrinth of houses, rightly called "patchwork". This was due to the fact that there were no building standards back in times.
Colorful sight on picture from a high POV.
Have a nice friday,
Ike

Hello Mariusz, yes it is a patchwork and a rather lovely one, even if some of the design is a little haphazard.
Interesting textures, shapes and colours.
Excellent work.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Mariusz,
Very attractive view of a part of Porto from above on the Dom Luís I Bridge.
Several nice details of what we can see from above on a densely built southern European city.
I like the purple flowers growing on the roof, the laundry that hangs to dry in some places, the labyrinthine character and that little corner to relax under a colourful parasol.
This would make a good picture for a jigsaw puzzle.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz,
A good downward pov with excellent sharpness and attractive bright red roof tiles. The parabolas, umbrella and washing on a line add authentic touches. Tfs!

a curious slice of the city with many elements and colors and a visible spoiled architecture needing restoration.

Hello Mariusz,
This is a surprising and intriguing photograph.
The buildings are in such a higgledy-piggledy arrangement, that there seems no plan to their positioning! They do not seem to be in the best repair and yet, that it what makes them so interesting! The roofs need repair, the walls are a mixture of stone or corrugated iron and even the terracotta tiles are varied. The textures and the colours are wonderful!
I'm intrigued as to where you were standing to obtain such a photograph!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz,
A great vertical composition with these many old houses, most of which are red. Their orange roofs are attractive as well and the small white wall in the foreground is a nice eye-catcher too. Well captured from a nice and high viewpoint.

Hi Mariusz,
Fascinating view of these simple old buildings stacked almost on top of each other on the river bank slope. It is not usual to see corrugated iron walls on houses in Europe. Far from luxury but very photogenic.
