Lighthouse, a photo from Leiria, North

Photographer's Note

In a place called São Pedro de Moel. It´s a realy nice village and it has this fotogenic lighthouse.

I've passed it trought NeatImage to clean some noise in the sky, and done a litle clarify in PSP.

Nice shot. I like the POV you've chosen. The rocky cliff wall gives the picture a nice feel.

Beautiful capture Artur with fine detail and rich colors. The diagonals at the shoreline and slope of the land form are most inviting to the eye. Fine work.

Jolie photo d'un phare très photogénique en effet.
Le ciel contrasté à gauche de l'image et qui se fond dans la mer à droite est du meilleur effet.
Bizarre cette espèce de brume à droite de la falaise (est-ce un effet de Neatimage?)

An interesting picture that would be less if the 50/50 split had been avoided. We would have lost a lovely sky or an evocative beach. Well done. Sharp detail throughout and good low light.

This is a strong composition, well rendered. The colours and contrast are well managed, and the lighthouse is perfectly situated to give dynamism as well as balance and a dash of colour to the scene. The clouds and the rays of light coming over the water near the far cliff are most enhancing. This is a most successful shot, well executed.

Beautiful colours and framing from a very good POV. I like the contrast between diffferent elements: the water, the sand, the rocks, the grass, the lighthouse and the sky. Every element a different musical instrument, which make your photo a symphonic poem. I wish I could see a good printout of this photo.

Another good composition. I have been trying to look for subjects like this in our country but they are very few and those that I've been to are just built in the wrong place. Unlike the one you have which is near a cliff

Very fantastic and amazing place. May be the light wasn't the perfect because it have to be more dramatic in the last hours of day, but anyway you captured it very well.

Outra grande foto Artur.
Um ponto de vista privilegiado e muito bem escolhido. O posicionamento do farol está perfeito, proporcionando um bom equilíbrio à foto, em contraponto ao mar que, pela ausência de elementos perturbadores conduz a visão ao ponto principal, nesse caso o próprio farol, destacado também pelas cores quentes.
A natureza estava a seu favor, visto que o céu exibe belas nuvens e um azul que enriquece sua composição.
