This was taken in Fatima and I could give you some information but it would be unfair for the simple reason that I don't understand it. You're better off getting the information somewhere else. I can tell you one thing - it doesn't matter if you're believer or not, visiting Fatima on May 13 will touch you.

Dont know what to think of this shot. I love its enigma and the noir atmosphere. The composition is excellent and reminicent of a classical 1920's shot from paris, but I think the grain is too heavy (like a nightvision goggles) The white umbrella adds a wonderful mystery to the image. Really well done.

Very nice composition in B & W I really like the black silhouettes and the light umbrella adds an extra dimension. Really god job. Thanks for sharing.

ola luis, nunca visitei Fatima mas a tua foto tocou-me. o p/b e o ruido dao-lhe uma aura mistica. gosto mto do efeito do guarda-chuva claro a contrastar. fizeste algum pos-processamento? marta

a imagem a preto e branco esta bem conseguida, pena nao ter muita nitidez, mas mesmo assim a intenção esta conseguida

Luis, é verdade... é qualquer coisa de inexplicavel... eu até não sou religioso por aí além (ja para nao dizer nada) mas fui a procisão de 13 Maio e devo confessar que é imponente e esmagador!

Hello Luis,
I have seen this kind of worshipping in Rome and Medjugorje (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and I was surprized to see how people tortured themselves in the name of belief. Of course this is something i cannot contemplate nor discuss here. The overall effect in your photo and postprocessing is amazing and I loved the grains and the white umbrella. The woman on her knees add a lot to the drama. Wish you had not cropped the spire. TFS,
