Photographer's Note
The title reflects my thoughts at the moment of the picture, with a fourth, bigger flower it would have been "The Daltons", but there wasn't one...
Parque natural de Montesinho is in the district of Braganca and on the boarder to Spain. The highest mountain is 1486 m high in the Serra de Montesinho. The park houses a great variety of flora and fauna, e. g. wolves. There is a significant amount of oak trees in the park. In the winter there is quite some snow on the highest peaks while in the summer temperatures can still reach 30 °C or more during the day. The biggest city at the edge of the park is Vinhais. If you have the time, visit the villages in the park, it's like a flashback in time!

Hello Franz,
The hollyhocks are perfect taken with the flowers and the blurred background..
Excellent composition, nice presentation, colours and sharpness make your picture one completely.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice evening,

HI Franz,
Great DOF to create this photo, I like the vast open space beyond, and the three flowers, it makes me smile that it seems the two shorter flowers to the left are looking up, almost enviably, at the larger double flower on the right, it gives these plants real personality! It is hard to choose to focus on the flowers or the backdrop, which each compliment each other so well! Really nicely done
Cheers

Hallo Franz!
I would expect these flowers in Denmark rather than Portugal. But if they are really portuguese: I share Rychem's opinion: a postcard motive to visit Portugal.
Regards, and a happy New Year!
Sven
