Town Hall in Kalisz - the town hall in Kalisz, neoclassical, erected in the years 1920–1924 thanks to the efforts of the Kalisz Reconstruction Committee according to the design of Sylwester Pajzderski based on earlier designs by Stefan Szyller; entered in the register of monuments in 1993.

Kalisz is a city in central Poland the Prosna river in the southeastern part of Greater Poland, the city forms a conurbation with the nearby towns of Ostrów Wielkopolski.

The town was also the site of the former 'Calisia' piano factory, until it went out of business in 2007. The building was transformed into the Calisia One Hotel which opened in 2019.

A good upward pov on th clocktower, with excellent sharpness, colour and framing. The red tiled roofs contrast well with the blue sky. Tfs!

Your photograph shows excellent clarity, not only of the town hall but also, of the buildings surrounding it.
Your viewpoint has emphasised the height and the scale of the main building, so that it has a magnificence and grandeur.

A fair distant POV upon the elegant city-hall of Kalisz.
My late wife father was born in this town back in the 1920th, most probably he would know this place.

jeszcze niedawno sugerowalem to miejsce na TE meeting no ale widze ze juz masz Kalisz swietnie obfotografowany. Urocze miejsce. Ja niestety mam pare zdjec ale nie najlepszej jakosci.
Doskonala pogoda i tak przyjemnie zywe kolory!
Nawet chmurki na niebie ulozyly sie doskonale.

An excellent photo of this charming town hall from a good angle. I like how it is surrounded by smaller and more colourful houses as well and the proud tower stands out well from the blue sky.

you know I like these squares, and how they offer great postcard type images. So ya, I like this one too. majestic and towering Town Hall. Surprised to see almost no people around. Colorful buildings surrounding the square too. cheers
