Colourful fountain in front of the newly renovated Dworzec Glowny (Main Railway Station),

I should really dedicate this image to Ryszard Michalik (rychem) whose posts have been a constant reminder of the city I once used to call home and now only visit once a year (as I did this summer).

Świetnie pokazałaś urodę tego dworca, a gdy przyjedziesz następnym razem, zobaczysz też zmiany w najbliższym otoczeniu

non è possibile restare indifferenti davanti ad un simile spettacolo nel quale la bellezza della luce e dei colori si unisce ad una nitidezza senza pari, il tutto con un soggetto particolarmente bello e inserito in una composizione particolarmente efficace.
Una foto splendida che merita di essere elogiata.
Un'altra delle tue belle realizzazioni.

Hi Kasia,
Quite surprising architecture with arched windows and turret reminding roof shapes. I could imagine something like this in Spain but not Poland. Those illuminated spays look very funny and with this longer exposure almost solid.

A truly gorgeous shot illustrating the lovely architecture of the Station against the blue hour sky.

its always nice to go back home again right!

I was in Wroclaw last year and loved it, I only wish I had more time to see more of the city.

of course i clearly remember this train/railway station too, it has a distinct look and feel to it.
But i didn't get to see these colorful water fountains.

They have a funny 'electric' type of appearance, perhaps its the 4 sec exposure, but i like it.

well shot, brings back good memories - and i'm sure for you too.

Witarenowacji. Kasiu, Ale pieknie wyglada ten dworzec we Wroclawiu po renowacji. To jestes z Wroclawia? Barbara tez jest wroclawianka, ktora los rzucil daleko. Supoer ta kolorowa fontanna. Pozdrawaim Malgorzata

piekna kompozycja z twojego rodzinnego Wroclawia!
Podoba mi sie ta fontanna podswietlona kolorowymi LED-ami.Do tego oczywiscie "blue hour",ktory podkresla tak ladnie i wyraziscie piekna architekture Dworca Gl.

bardzo ladnie wykonalas i ujelas wroclawski dworzec kolejwy. Przyznam sie ze bedac we Wroclawiu w 2012 nie poszlam wieczorem bo z ta fontanna wyglada fantastycznie. Takze podoba mi sie efekt swiatla. Bardzo ladna praca.

Hi Kasia,

If your note wouldn't have indicated that this train station was newly renovated, I would have thought it was Disneyland, as every details are impeccably neat and trim.

It is also a well lit building, making it a perfect subject for the blue hour.

Although I like your angle of view, presenting very attractive architectural elements, like the clock tower, I wonder if it would have been a possible alternative to be placed more towards the front of the building, to include the main entry, as it must be an attractive and significant part of the station.

Czesc Kasiu,
wracajac do dyskusji o podrozowaniu do Polski, zakupilem wlasnie bilety do Wroclawia. Troche moze malo rozsadnie biorac pod uwage ze wlasnie jestem na kwarantannie bo ktos na samolocie powrotnym podobno mial Covida.
Piekna wieczorna fotografia.
Nigdy nie udalo mi sie zrobic zadowalajacego zdjecia tego uroczego dworca.
Swietny efekt z asymetrycznie skomponowanym budynkiem i tymi kolorowo podswietlonymi fontannami.
