Photographer's Note

Main building of the University of Wroclaw. This largest baroque building complex of the city, consists a former Jesuit college and church. The history of this building dates back to 1702 when Leopold I Habsburg founded the institution. In 2002 it celebrated its 300th anniversary. The main building houses the Museum of the University of Wroclaw, the Aula Leopoldina – a baroque hall, the Oratorium Marianum – a concert hall and the former astronomic observatory, situated in the Mathematical Tower.
