Photographer's Note

Panorama form higest point of Poland - peak Rysy (2499м).

Poland-Slovakia border runs over peak Rysy and continues on the ridge of Freedom (Voli hrbat) seen in the centre of image.
On the left is Slovakia, on the right - Poland, what ackonowledges the blue panel.
On the Slovakian side opens view on the hollow of Zabiech Plies (lakes), Mengusovska valley and to Basht Summit (hreben bašt) behind it.
On the Poland side in the valley of Fish creek (Dolina Rybiego potoku) one above other are located Black lake below Rysy (Czarny Staw pod Rysami, 1583м) and behind them famous Sea-Eye lake (Morskie Oko, 1395м).
Due to special status - highest point of Poland - peak Rysy (2499m) is one of favorit destinations in High Tatras for them who are ready to endure 5-hours ascent and 4,5-hours descent. From Slovakian side ascent is longer, but sloper, in turn from Poland side - shorter, but steep, with plenty of chains and other rock-climbing pleasures. On the top near blue panel, marking the border of Poland, usually is a queue of tourists wishing to make a picture of themself with lakes and mountains in background.
Panorama from 9 vertical images.
