From bicycle trip.
St. Nicholas Church - a Roman Catholic parish church in the village of Staw.
The bell tower from the 19th century on the square at to the church.

Staw is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szczytniki, within Kalisz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 50 kilometres east of Ostrów Wielkopolski.
Staw was given a municipal location before 1405, and was degraded in 1870.

This is an unusual and very beautiful bell tower. I would have thought it to be more modern than from the 19th century. The photo is of your usual high technical standard.

Witaj Krzysztof,

This is very unusual, to see church bells at ground level and not on a high tower, where their noise can radiate more easily. (I once saw a similar example in France but that is the only other one.)
Your photograph is nicely composed and though it is quite dark inside the building, the bells are easily seen.
I'm sure you were pleased to see this red brick structure, which is sharp and well saturated.

The trees are framing well the tower. The point of view is showing the details of the bell tower of the St.Nicholas church. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

We can clearly see the large bells in between the brick arches. The brick building jumps out nicely from its green surroundings. Well captured.

A tower with three bells on the square ... so low to the ground , I wouldn't dare to go near it. Just in case , its started to bell. It must be very deafening for the ears :-(
Well, I do like the the tower itself. Fine and neat red bricks in beautiful structures and textures , making it so appealing to see around the green surroundings.
It's a small tower with a great sound of church bells can be heard in the whole village of Staw.

Czesc Krzysztof,
przedtem oryginalne wejscie a teraz jeszcze bardziej interesujaca dzwonnica. Zastanawiam sie czy to sie kwalifikuje to nazwy wieza bo to raczej niska struktura. Bardzo ciekawy ksztalt dachu, troche przypomina mi zamek w Malborku, moze dlatego ze rowniez sporo cegly.

a curious structure for bells, usually in catholic churches they are positioned in a very high level. a surprising and well seen image.beautiful photo.
