Photographer's Note
Last saturday the wind blew very strong (up to 80km/hour). I went to the dunes in the afternoon. There I struggled with the masses of sand flying on me. I overcast behind my camera (my eyes are more important...) trying to take some photographs. It was extreme job and yesterday I went to the ophtalmologist to remove finally the sand from my eyes... On dunes spent there three hours exciting and shouting to the wind with my hand embracing the whole beautiful world. There was a huge noise outside me, but inside I was very calm, like never before. Alone with the nature... it is hard to imagine something more beautiful. After the sunset I went back to hear the silence...
Tomorrow the Sun goes to Aries (my zodiac sign) and spring will arrive...
This image was taken not only against the Sun, but also against the wind and sand ;).

Hi Henryk,
From the thumbnail i thought it was snow under the moonlight! But it is sand under the sun! Eerie light giving a mystery atmosphere... the sun and its star shape looks not too harsh on the picture
. Nice sand texture.

Niesamowity efekt, Henryku!
pozdrowienia,

Funny, Henryk, I never would have the impression that winter is over looking at this post. Besides that your text almost underlines the feeling of powerful nature. Well, but than the astronomical element comes in with that intense sun and the detail that Aries is starting to be place to be for the sun. That means astronomically that Spring is starting.

Witaj Henryku
No i gdybym mogła, to z przyjemnością przyznałabym Ci jeszcze jeden zielony całus za ten poetycki opis do zdjęcia :).
Wspaniały koniec zimy na TE w Twoim wydaniu :).
Życzę Ci radosnej wiosny i wielu wyśmienitych zdjęć :).
Pozdrawiam wiosennie :)

Hello Henryk
What can I say about the beauty of this landscape! First I thought these were clouds, a sea of it, before I read your note. Once can feel the wind as it blows the sand, yet the textures of the sand in the FG is clear. The inclusion of the hillock in the far BG increases the effect of depth. You certainly took some risks, especially with the blowing sand to bring us this excellent shot

Olá Henryk, how nice to see another entry of yours and what a great note so full of feelings - loved it. A photo taken against everything and yet the result is fantastic. I feel like I'm crawling on the naked surface of the moon and I think I see the bold head of a marcian in the background. I'm glad that you weren't caught by him, but only by many grains of sand.

Hi Henryk,
At first glance I though this was a sea of clouds and you were riding high in an aeroplane, but now I can see the dunes and the incredible dust and contours. The hillock in the distance nicely balances and illustrates the depth in the scene. This must have been a trying experience and I hope your camera did not suffer, aside from your eyes of course. Well done.

Hi Henryk, Love your POV & the excellent composition with the warm of the sun & the chill of the wind, capturing the sand flying close to the ground like this is superb & worth getting a little sand in your eyes for this great result (glad there is no serious damage to them), spring is upon us again, LONG LIVE THE SUN, kind regards Wilson.

Hello Mr. Bilor,
Hope your eyes and your camera are ok now.
But WoW, it was really worth taking this amazing Polish dune and sharing it with us. Polarized sky, and the shape of the sun reminding us again that it is a star, are just lovely. Incredible color of the sand, very different from th orange tones of dunes that i am used to see. Soft texture of the surface makes me want to go there and expose my eyes to that strong wind...
Just wonderful.

Hi Henryk,
The effect that gives the wind raising the sand of the dunes and offering a texture that looks like a snow thanks to the hard and direct lighting of the Sun it is surprising.
The flou in the shape of star that is formed about the Sun in this so difficult shot is spectacular, and has a great aesthetic result. And the color of the sky is perfect.
Everything works very well here. I hope that your eyes were resisting the assault of the wind and the sand.
Best regards, my friend,
Josep

Witaj Henryku,
Pozdrawiam,
