Photographer's Note

Wajdelota was a diviner in the Lithuanian pagan times. Wajdelota Halban is one of the heroes of the poem "Konrad Wallenrod" by Adam Mickiewicz.

Wajdelota's street in Gdańsk got some special magic. Maybe due to it's mysterious patron's influence :).

Hi Teresa,
I always admire your frames and the dynamic B&W tones of your shots. They really focus us onto the story within. This simple image has an elegant feeling, a traditional street style, everyday shot, but a worthwhile staory told.

Bonjour Teresa,
J'aime beaucoup cette atmosphère de rue l'été. La fille qui vient vers nous est très belle et donne beaucoup de charme à l'ensemble.

Ah...nostalgia for summer! That's what I need...

A great observation shot, Teresa. Captured at just the right time, with the man - maybe a granddad? - glancing sideways, sneakingly looking, and the girl eyes cast down, pretending to be totally unaware...

...and then there is that great summer afternoon's light. How I miss it...

i'm not one who takes people/street photos, but that doesn't mean that i can't enjoy viewing them! :)
there is something about this scene that is very tranquil and soothing...when looking at it, i invision hearing nothing, no sound, just silence
maybe my interpretation is off, but thats what i get from viewing this
