Photographer's Note

The Castle of Grodno is located in the middle of a beautiful land of Lower Silesia, not very far from Swidnica town. Looks goregous, huh? It's also very old - it's been standing on the top of Choina hill since 1198. It also has very rich history, with many noble and also not-too-pleasant rulers of the surrounding area. It used to be Polish, then Czech, then German, now in Poland again. Open every day except Mondays, typically from 10 am to 5 pm. If you happen to have a young guide who belongs to the local Knight Society, you're lucky - he'll tell you many interesting stories of the castle's rich history.
