Photographer's Note

Town Hall in Boleslawiec.
The first seat of the municipality in Boleslawiec, a wooden hall, was built in the 14th century. The building survived only 100 years old and was burned down during the Hussite wars. The present town hall was erected in the years 1524-1535. The hall consists of 3 three buildings and a tower with Gothic elements. Two buildings are in Baroque style, and the third building is not visible in the picture - the municipal weight house - is located at the town hall tower.

The photo was taken through the gate of a tenement house at the Market Square.
