The Rorbu on the Lofoten, a photo from Nordland, North

Photographer's Note

This is another Rorbu on the Lofoten. A Rorbu is a typical Lofoten fisherhouse which can be hired for a staying. This one is also taken in Hamnoy; before the bridge to Reine, there is a doll Museum and also yellow rorbu. I saw this red rorbu on the other side of the water and took this one, standing between this yellow rorbu on a scaffolding.

It was in the evening and therefor the light was really great in this one. I suppose the owner of these rorbu is living in the house on the hill.

Typical Lofoten again, and the colors are great on this one! The reflection also is very special, a great feel of the place. Such an easy living when the weather is like this, sleep with a view to the ocean, wake up with the sun, take your little boat just outside your room to go fishing... Looks like paradise! In the winter, probably a different story...

Beautiful image and fantastic reflection in the water, the colors are perfect, the composition is good, but I see too much centered the houses, in any case it is a good work, congratulations.

Ook weer een prachtige Florian.
Ik ben onder indruk van je noorwegen foto's, dit is er toch weer een die er bovenuit springt vind ik zelf. de foto zit knap in elkaar, goed licht, uitstekende compositie, geen ruis, nee echt heel mooi werk.
