The Kjerkfjorden from the Water, a photo from Nordland, North

Photographer's Note

We we're staying at a Rorbu in Reine, where we could lend a boat for fishing. We went into the fjord, to the west. After 10 minutes you can see this view from the water; The Kjerkfjorden.

I like this kind of landscape, the mountains look so huge when they just arise at once. I made a little composition with a fishing factory.

I like your composition and the low position of the sun. Good contrasts with the shadows in the background and the well colored sky. very inviting!

Very nice Florian,
You have cropped this very well. The mountains look very interesting with half in shadow and the other half lit very beautifully. Keep up the good work.

Wow! I've never seen a picture of this place before, so this is a real eye opener. The shapes of the mountains are very dramatic, with sheer rock faces rising straight out of the water, and not just one or two, but many. Including the small village was a good idea, because it gives some scale and vital human interest to the shot. Well done!

Wat had je een schitterend weer. De lucht is zo helder, dat de helderheid van je foto's wel enorm toeneemt. Ook hier kun je de ruige trekkenvan het Lofoten-landschap goed zien.
