Photographer's Note

This is a picture taken in the inner parts of the region Hardanger in Norway. This scene was captured at a trip along the fjord Simafjorden which is an arm of the larger fjord Hardangerfjorden. When it comes to the name of the fjord Hardangerfjorden it`s a bit funny because "anger"-part of the name in old Norse language means fjord, so actually it really says "Hardangerfjordenfjorden", a so-called tautological place name. Eidfjord is the closest village.
