Photographer's Note
The last of these three views of Bergen taken from Fløyen montain: here, a shot diretly toward the city. The fjord is on the right of the image, and the harbour further to the right, and not visible here.

Hello Emmanuel!
Even though I have seen this view a thousand times, I'm still impressed. I have hiked those mountains a hundred times, I'm still impressed. Bergen is a wonderful city which we citizens never stop being proud of. I was born December 1992, so I wasn't even one year old when you took this. That can sometimes be funny, to see my hometown how it looked then. The photo is good because of the sharpness and the colorful centre of Bergen. Of course the photo would not be top class if it were taken today, but it's very good for 1993. Looks like there were a lot of people in the centre that day (I think of all the cars on the roof of what we call "Bygarasjen" seen in the bottom left corner).
Best regards from Bergen!
