Autumn view of Bergen, a photo from Hordaland, South

Photographer's Note

Felling of some big spruce trees in one of the turns leading to Mount Fløyen revealed a new view of the city. I just had to stop to take some photos. This was taken in october, after the cruise season. In the tourist season lots of cruise ships are docked either by the Skoltegrunnskaien in the right part of the frame, where several yellow coloured ships are docked, or at Dokkeskjærskaien by the inlet Puddefjorden in the left part of the frame, on the other side of the Nordnes peninsula.

this panoramic view of Bergen is fabulous!Sure,the warm and soft light gives here an extra pleasant touch to the scene,but it would be beautiful regardless the weather.You´re lucky to live in such magnificent scenery and close to nature.
The image has excellent quality and lovely and well contrasting colors.

Yes, i remember this view point...you've posted a photo or two from this POV before right?
So as i'm looking at this view, where is that famous Postcard shot of the row houses in Bergen? is it shown here?
looks like a cool, crisp day, perfect for photo taking.

Fantastic view of the bay and Berfen town on waterfront.
taken on a very clear day, fine visibility till far as the eyes can see.
City had not change much since my 5/1980 visit, climbed by foot to this mountain, as there was no cable car like nowadays.
