Photographer's Note
Three views of the Polish fullrigger Dar Mlodziezy in Bergen harbour in 1993, the best of the three being this one, with the Rusian Sedov in the background.
And there was some blue sky in Bergen for 2 out of 3 pictures!
In workshop 1, the rear part, which is typical of that serie of 4 ships (one Polish: Dar Mlodziezy ; 3 ex USSR now split between 2 Russian ships: Druzhba and Mir and 1 Ukrainian: Khersones).
In worshop 2, a side view taken during a period of grey weather (unfortnatly the most common in Bergen during my stay in 1993).

Bonsoir Emmanuel,
Amicalement
Denis!

Emmanuel,
This is a nice shot of these fine old ships. I wish you could have included a little more space on the left side of the scene, I think that it would improve you composition a bit. The lighting and colors are fine and the photo has excellent sharpness.

Hello Emmanuel,
The four-masted Sedov I recognize. You've framed it nicely with the Dar Mlodziezy. What a remarkable series of photographs of tall ships you have in your archives. Once again a beautiful scan of a sixteen-year old image. Is the film Fuji or Kodak?
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hello Emmanuel,
A great photo from Norway. It has been converted well to digital form. The old photo (I was only 4 years old when it was taken) captures the colours and tones very well. The boats are very impressive, fuel-driven boats of nowadays do not have the same sort of wonderful look about them. I like the combination of green, blue and white here. All colours are very soft and natural.

Hallo Emmanuel!
What a sight! A truly impressive nostalgic view taken from a favourable angle. This vivid sky adds a lot to the picture here.
Greetings from an a bit autumnal Germany!

Hi Emmanuel,
A well framed shot from your archives. Good colours considering it's a scan. Details of all the ropes show well too. And yes, you were lucky to capture these on such a nice weather.
