Photographer's Note

Amsterdam is famous not only for its canals that cross the city like waterways, but also for the thousands of bicycles that citizens use for transportation. On the canals beyond the barges, you can meet rowers of all ages from young to old. These old ladies use this type of exercise to keep feeling young despite their older age.

It is good to see the ladies exercising on the canal, it gave you this photo opportunity.
Their clothes provide some bright colours which stand out against the varying tones of grey.
I like the reflections.

This is a fine shot!
I love how you have composed the scene with horizontal layers, each showing different features, colours and textures; the main one, of course, being the rowers in their boat!
I like the suggestion that the bicycles have been abandoned in favour of the boat!

The parked bicycles in the bg contrast well with old ladies rowing the canoe across the canal. Good sharpness and diffused lighting. Tfs!
