I really miss the mood of Amsterdam, the calm of the non touristic streets, the buildings, even the rain...
I hope I'll return there soon!

Taking this straight into the sun could have caused you problems, but you handled this well. It's a perfectly exposed photo and it could hardly have been less typical of Amsterdam. Please remember there are also many other nice towns and cities in the Netherlands, and they are never far away. ;-)

Well composed, the eye is drawn to the cyclist and then to the tower. It has a lovely balance and the sun just adds to the overall effect. Well done

Hello Daniel,

You had a difficult exposure, here, shooting towards the sun but you have managed it well and captured the character of this narrow, Dutch street, free of tourists but showing a cyclist.

I like the patterns of the wet tiles and their details of sunlight and shadows.

I like the capture of the intrusive sunlight. with everything well placed in your POV. The old streets with the brick and row houses gives a character all its own. Nice capture on this one.

This is daring with respect to the inclusion of direct sunlight, but also including the wonderful contrast of a wet street and the sunbeam reflections from the windows to the right. And the biking lady, of course.
