Lots of flamingoes had gathered to feed at sunset at the Renaissance Island in Oranjestad, Aruba. They were not afraid to let the tourists get close and I managed to catch two of them in this silhouetted pose.

Gorgeous subjects you have here and beautifully silhouted agains the setting sun. I'm thinking that a cropping it a little on the left may bring a stronger composition. The sunset colors are very good and the clouds are so good.

What I really like about your photo is that you can to still see some detail on the flamingoes. They look 3D even though they're silhouettes. Perfect 'exposure' IMO. I also like the contrast between the 'frames', ie. the straight line of the rocks compared to the curve of the wet sand. Beautiful.

The zone of shade in bottom seems to wrap the birds. The composition is excellent and the whole is very beautiful.

Wonderful! I love the sunset colours as a backdrop to you perfect subject for the silhouettes. A really beautiful image.

Nice contrasts of colors. The delicate colors of the sky and the dark silhouette of the flamingoes. Nice reflection on the water.

A nice silhouettes for those flamingoes, and a very nice colours behind, well done ! I appreciate the rocky line, but I think cropping a bit on one side would improve it somehow.

Good composition resulting in a striking picture. Have done a quick WS after seeing comments on cropping from edges just to see what it would look like as a thin portrait orientation focussing on the birds. Hope you like it. Thanks.

This is really a great shot. The silhouettes with the water reflex made a magic atmosphere.
