"Monaco, in long form the Principality of Monaco, in Monegasque Principatu de Mu̍negu, is a state of Western Europe, as well as a municipality of the same name occupying the same area as the State itself (which in fact, it is a city-state.) The Principality of Monaco is a State enclosed in the territory of the French Republic.4 It is located at the Mediterranean Sea, along the Côte d'Azur, about twenty kilometers from Paris. Nice, and 8.1 km from Menton, a border town with Italy Surrounded by the French cities of Cap d'Ail, Beausoleil, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and La Turbie, the principality has a direct access to the sea and territorial waters joining international waters, so it is not a landlocked territory per se. I've only seen Monaco through the tunnel at the train station. A good photo overlooking the city.

Salut Adrian,
Un superbe belvédère sur la ville et la baie, jolie luminosité et effet avec ces teintes, le bleu bien sûr qui s'harmonise avec le rouge des fleurs. Bien cadré avec en premier plan cette table d'orientation, cela accentue l'effet de profondeur d'image.

Hello Adrian,

We visited Monaco for a day when we were staying in Nice and wished that we had been able to stay longer and see more.
With such a small territory, you can understand why the buildings go upwards!
I like how you have introduced the curves in the f/g, they give such a contrast to the more perpendicular shapes beyond. By setting the curves off-centre, you guide viewers diagonally to enjoy everything else.

A great view along the coastline and the mountains in the distance and the country of Monaco in the foreground. The colours are really vibrant in the pleasant sunshine.

Hello Adrian, so many buildings squashed onto a small area.
And, so much wealth!
I like this viewpoint looking down onto the principality.
We really can see for miles and miles, (kilometres and kilometres!)

Breathtaking scenery. I assume it is the same terrace from which you took the previous photo. I would love to visit south of France someday but I think it is expensive and I don't speak French...

Bonjour Adrian,
A marvelous panorama over Monaco and the beautiful seascape.
Combined well the urban scene and the mountains "falling" to the Mediterranean.
