Photographer's Note
Kruonis Pumped Storage Plant is a special type of hydro power plant. During off peak hours it pumps water from the Nemunas River to the artificially built upper reservoir. During peak hours it generates power by releasing water from the upper reservoir back to the river.

Very nice photo,you caught the light just right,the structure well defined.good focus.
I really like your notes, to understand the function of this storage plant.
In Scotland we have Hydro Power Plants.
Many mountains to take advantage from.
I know Lithuania is very flat, this plant is great idea to generate power.
