Hi Valentina
I happened to read your note on the problems if you don't have the right equipment. It is true in some cases, after experimenting for almost 4 years on a Fuji S9600 on which I learned photography, I am upgrading to my first SLR and have ordered my first Canon Rebel.
The Fuji and most digital camera's metering in harsh daylight is something they cannot handle, most often you would have blown out corners, but I've noticed they do a wonderful job in soft light (golden hours).
In this picture you've a good example of both, the sky and the blue hot air balloon is well exposed, but the one on left has some blown out areas. I wish you had made a few level adjustments in the darker area where the people are standing!
Good luck and a warm welcome to TE. Hope you have a good learning.
Cheers, Blue

Welcome to TE! It's not the equipment but the photographer that makes the picture and from what I've seen you are doing very well with your camera. I like the capture of this balloon. Good composition and it has good dof with nice details. Very well done, tfs.

Hello, beautiful image of the hot air balloon. You captured the scene at the perfect moment as the balloon is rising in the air with the fire turned on for lift. Good composition.
Your little Fuji camera is great for scenes like this and is so handy to carry around. I used a Canon Powershot for years and took great photos with it. So handy and easy to use.
Have a great day and thanks for sharing your image,
Karen

Hi Valentina
Great close view straight to the point and the burst of brilliant colors. The sun has caught fraction of the baloon nicely although it appears slightliy over exposed there and the detail also shows the immense energy from the lighted burner. I like the framing with excellent foreground details too and well exposed lighting. Fine work, Congrats
Best regards
