Photographer's Note

Messenano Of the castle, constructed in XIV the century a high and powerful tower remains currently. In the pressi of the tower there is the church of Sant'Apollinare of XII the century, realized in an only one navata, evidences in the left part I fresco of XVIII the century, while to right a little one tabernacolo. In the sagrato one of the church there are the rests of some columns roman and two sarcofagi, let alone of numerous large stones of roman age that they make to suppose, that such locality has been developed in the Middle Ages on the rests of a roman construction.
