Photographer's Note

Itís still the same day as the last few posts. We were fooled into thinking the weather was brightening so we decided to walk to Monte Texile, just outside Aritzo where we were staying. Itís an easy walk through forest to this natural limestone monument, said to resemble a giant mushroom. Itís 975m high and can be seen from various points around. As you can see it was very misty. On the way back it turned to heavy rain and we were drenched and had to use my hairdryer to dry our trousers :D. We brought waterproof tops but not bottoms :(
In RAW conversion I used sunlight white balance as I thought the bluer tone was a slight improvement on the smoggy colour that cloud WB gave. I also cropped some of the sky. A closer view is in the WS.
