Located at the intersection of a dense network of secondary itineraries, which linked the territory of Spoleto to the Valnerina, the castle of Acera stands at 972 meters above sea level, on the slopes of the Maggiore (1428 m) and Grande (1318 m) mountains in a dominant position (972 m) on the Spina valley in a mountain area rich in pastures and truffle fields.
