Photographer's Note
Today we are back in total lockdown, so not being able to go out I offer you a photo from my window on the occasion of the first snowfall, playing with the drops of steam from my kitchen that have deposited on the window, the place and the church by now you know them well, Happy Sunday everyone.

Ciao Luciano,
great result of the experiment. We recognize the church and the wet window adds a creative layer in front of it.
I must try to do it someday, although I don't have anything nearly as exciting behind my window.
Yes we have quite strict measures in the UK as well. We can leave house for exercise but not too far which does not leave many options...
Lovely presentation, well illustrating the nostalgia, we miss travel and adventure...

Ciao Luciano,
We even had a 3 day lockdown here last weekend because one of the cleaners at the quarantine hotel had the new N501Y strain, and masks are required on public transport and in shopping centres for 5 more days. An innovative shot of the rain soaked window! Tfs!

Hello Luciano, by total lockdown I understand that you are not allowed to go anywhere?
You made the best of what you have, and ever the photographer you have shared this excellent shot from inside your kitchen.
Even through the wet glass we can still see the lovely buildings that is your view.
Kind regards, Jean.

Ciao Luciano,
Set well the focal upon the glass, the dropletts and vapor accumulated were in fine sharpness, while the brown church facade and snowy piazza shown through with natural blur.
Nice ides, saluti,

Hello Luciano,
This shows that good photos can be found almost anywhere. It's more fun to seek them outside, away from home, but not always necessary. You used the weather conditions and the view from your window for an interesting piece of semi-abstract art.
Best regards,
Gert

yes sometimes the situation means we have to amuse ourselves in other ways and at least let our creative juices flow.
Its nice to still be able to see the church quite clearly in the abstract layer

Ciao Caro Luciano,
It is almost reassuring to see the same places but in a different mood. I know I have favourite spots, that I photograph and post and hope people will not tire of them!
This is a photograph with which we can easily identify. We can imagine the conditions which caused the steaming on the windows and the wet droplets running down. This side of the photograph then becomes warm and cosy, with the cold in the b/g.
Not many people will have such a fine building, immediately outside their window!
Keep safe,
Bev :-)
My daughter has already had the vaccine as she works in the NHS. Let's hope it comes to us all soon and that it stems the progress of this awful virus.

we can notice the snow in the ground. a nice visual effect with the humid window. here we are almost normal yet. the paraná government sent syringes to vaccination to the regional centers and probably we will have the first vaccinated people in the next days.
take care

Hello Luciano,
A now recognizable view of the church.
In addition, the photo shows the feeling of someone who's trapped inside and misses the freedom to go outside.
The vapor on the windows blurs the vision and further enhances the sad feeling.
Let us look ahead and believe in the light that shines at the end of the tunnel. In the foreseeable future you can explore new horizons again.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Luciano,
A good capture focusing on the drops on the window, nicely distorting the buildings on the other side, which add some warm tones to the cloudy winter day.

Hello Luciano,
Sorry to hear that! I wish you endurance for the upcoming weeks. As I see you have a nice view from your apartment. However I know that even such a nice view can be boring if your deprived from your freedom.
Please make yourself busy and keep digging up your archives!
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Luciano,
I like these kinds of photos where we see an impressionistic scene through the raindrops on a window.
What better way to capture the bleak atmosphere of a rainy day in an apparently attractive almost abstract composition.
Excellent work!
Have a nice day, greetings Rob

Hi Luciano.
Really a sensational composition, with the view of the church and the other building, the effect of the temperature change on the window glass, gives a very creative and artistic effect.
We started the year just as terrible as the passing, what sadness.
Superb brightness and sharpness management to enjoy the details.
Well seen and done. I like it.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Ciao Luciano
This superb upload is not a picture but rather a work of art!
Despite its great beauty and originality, I urge you to close the bathroom door, next time you take a shower to protect the fine woodworks from vapor condensation!!
Ciao

Ciao Luciano, When you can't leave your house, how you can buy something to eat? These lockdowns are terrible things and they do not help so much. Charming view of these drops on the window glass. And this view of the church we know already very well. You have a nice view from your window.
Best regards MAlgo
