Lucca Cathedral (Duomo di Lucca or Cattedrale di San Martino) is a Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to Saint Martin. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Lucca. Construction was begun in 1063 by Bishop Anselm (later Pope Alexander II).

probabilmente tu sei sbagliato con un'altra foto, questa è la chiesa di San Michele in Piazza delle Catene (così chiamata dagli abitanti).
Bella piazza e belle architetture, con bei contrasti di colore.

The cathedral tower makes an attractive and effective frame for the statue and the lovely façades in the background. I like the lights and colours and the pleasant atmosphere they evoke.

This is the beautiful cathedral in Lucca, that I was looking for a frontal POV, but a very difficult location for that, Daniel.
The tower façade is decorated with 4 stories of arches and a Cherub on top's.
Your photo show marvelously the piazza and the shops around. A charming town and a beautiful picture from.

Hello Daniel,

This is a lovely scene from Lucca, which emphasises the colours and the height of the buildings. I wonder if you would have been able to correct the lens distortion to counteract the leaning aspect of the tower.
It was a good idea to anchor the f/g and make a feature of the light and shadows.

We get a lovely market place in foreground with a wonderful frontage and tower in background.

Tu as su profiter d'une magnifique journée sur Lucca.Les couleurs des murs des maisons sont très belles et on perçoit bien les textures usées. Beau point de vue bas qui donne de l'ampleur.

I like that you have included only the bell tower of the cathedral that you mention in the title, the monument, the neighbouring buildings, the ample space and the people give us an intriguing glimpse of the picturesque square.
