Photographer's Note
Ho inserito questa foto nella doppia categoria "Ruins" e "Artwork" perché si tratta di una grandissima opera d'arte, il "Grande Cretto" di Burri, ma all'interno di questa opera ci sono le rovine del vecchio villaggio di Gibellina, crollato dopo il terremoto del 1968.
Queste sono le strade come si presentano oggi.

A strange and unusual composition that requires some figuring out on behalf of the viewer, nothing wrong in that I hasten to add. Very good exposure management and a fine long perspective. One feels that one can step right into the frame.

Tu dois avoir eu beaucoup de plaisir à fabriquer cette photo. On a l'impression de se retrouver dans un méandre de ciment d'où on ne pourrait pas sortir sauf par le haut.

questa vista e' ancora piu' intima e misteriosa dalla tua foto precedente di questo posto straordinario. Mi piace molto come hai giocato con le prospettive e le forme, come il procedimento dello spettatore per le strade della citta' che fu e' irresistibile. Uno scenario senza tempo, le tonalita' tenue ed armoniose fanno un' atmosfera molto particolare. Complimenti e grazie!

Non ho mai sentito di questi rovini. Che un capolavoro. Adoro il monocromo, anche se l'immagine non e' in bianconero. Le linee fluide invitano gli occhi dentro la foto. Un buon POV basso e' la ciliegina sulla torta.
