How difficult can be to live!, a photo from Treviso, Veneto

This is the first poppy that i have seen in the 2005 and it's really in a dangerous position: almost 50 cm. from the cars in the road with more traffic of Treviso! Is here absolutely alone, sourronded only from asphalt, but is living, in apparence without problems.
Unbelievable how strong can be the wish of to live!

Very artistic, Giorgio. It works. I was going to suggest at first that there be major cropping, but on a second glance one realizes that its the lonely, incongruous presence of the flower that helps make this shot effective. One can well see how, given a few years of inattention, the cracks in all our pavement and concrete would soon give rise to living things protruding and ultimately conquering. The texture of the road also gives enhancement to the shot. Well seen and captured. Regards.

Giorgio merci d'avoir capturé ce beau message d'espoir dans la vie et la beauté. Ce coquelicot ne se serait pas fait remarquer s'il avait poussé ailleurs. La photo est bien mise en scène et le rouge éclate sur le goudron de la route.
