A fisherman that in this bw variant almost look like he is in a formal dress out there in the water. Nice capture Paolo with the man so engaged in his activity sown there. Hope he eventually got something..

Hello Paolo. A black-and-white photo after all the many color photos. Very unusually. The man looks nearly elegant with its black clothes. I imagine an angler somehow differently. As also is: the picture is interesting and pleases me very well. Best regards, Wolfgang.

First off, I'm an American from TX and your little speech about President Bush in your profile..........made me laugh my butt off!!! Don't you know his speech writers are in the back with their hands covering their face.

I really like the scene you captured here. I love to fish a good river and when I looked at this it seems that he is wearing a suit and waders which to me defines a true fisherman. Take a lunch break from work to "wet a line". Sometimes people notice the techical aspects, which you have done a wonderful job with......and sometimes the photograph connects with the viewer......which you did with me.

You photo is excellent! The composition and the patterns of the water is especially good. I wish that you would have posted a WS photo in color also. B&W probably was the right choice, but the color photo would have been an interesting comparision. Is he fishing for trout? Great work!

Like if he did not realize his feet were in the river. Very calm, very quiet, he is there for eternity. I like the use of B&W here.

Très bon cadrage, de plus le noir et blanc donne plus d'impact sur le lecteur.

The B&W format works well here and I love the detail of both the ripples in the water and the way the stream is sloshing at the feet of the fisherman, who seems rather formally dressed. The overall effect is surreal. Very fine work.

Hi Paolo,
At a first glance I thought that he was Alfred Hitchcock, maybe with a bit more hair :)) But he used to appear fishing with his suit and the water covering his pants a bit, like this man here... :))
The photo is good in B&W and quite sharp... I like the mood in it...
