Photographer's Note
A view from the Ferry, on the gate of the Olbia Gulf, where on a small island there's an old lighthouse.
The three different "layers" of land are from the foregound, the Punta Saline, the Capo Ceraso, and on the background the silouhette of Tavolara Island.

Hello Paolo
I very much like photos with hazy mountains in the background. They give a sense of calm and relaxation. This one is no exception. Nice one.
Best wishes

Bella!

Great shot!
But somehow it makes me feel like something is cropped off with the left border of the frame, like something is hidden.
Well, may be that's just my weird imagination. :)

Bonjour Paolo,

What a blue photo if you don't see the line of trees on the peninsula...
You have made very good use of the layered landscape, there is a very nice depth inside the 2D reality. Compo is very well arranged, the dots, the peninsula and the slope of the hill meet at the lighthouse. Delicately arranged. Complimenti...

Hi Paolo,
very nice view, unusual a small island with the lighthouse, great mountains in BG. I don't know what camera You used - Nikon? Sony?

Yeah, I like your use of layers here Paolo, made all the more effective by the misty, hazy lighting conditions.
There's a good balance to your composition, and the 'things' in the water break up the foreground nicely.
One thing I would suggest is to put a black outline around the image - with a pale sky such as this you need separation from the white frame.
Good work, I like it.
Cheers,
Ben

Ciao Paolo,
Josep

Hello Paolo,
Very busy lately, I have not much time for TE. I like this with all the different levels. Well framed as well. I like how those things in the water take us into the frame.
Ciao!

Hi Paolo,
I like your approach here, allowing the layer densities to define the subject rather than just the composition. This also imposes a good distance effect to the whole image. Useful for me as I am intending shooting a very similar scene here and can use this as a model. Thanks.
Dougie.
