Photographer's Note

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II is the famous and wonderful passage from the Dom to the Scala in Milan. Famous for its'architecture and roof and high arcades at all entrences. A monument of welth of the 19th century.
The architect was Giuseppe Mengoni made it in neo-renaissance-style as a scenery for restaurants, boutiques, bookshops, travel-agencies, en cafe's.
The same architect died just before the opening of the Galleria in 1878, because he fell from this beautiful roof......
