Another shot taken at the Basilica dei Santi XII Apostoli in Rome .
From Wikipedia :
The Basilica dei Santi Apostoli is a 6th century basilica in Rome, dedicated originally to St. James and St. Philip and later to all Apostles. Today, the basilica is under the care of the Conventual Franciscan Order, whose headquarters in Rome is in the adjacent building.

Built by Pope Pelagius I to celebrate a Narses victory over the Ostrogoths, and dedicated by Pope John III to St John and St Philip Apostles, the basilica is listed as Titulus SS Apostolorum in the acts of the synod of 499. Santi Apostoli was ruined by an earthquake in 1348, and abandoned.

Impressive shot; interesting POV, lots of details, great colours.

What I like the most in this shot is the light; it creates this mystical atmosphere and I can almost expect to see some divine creature in that light. Once again...what a light, what a light, what a light!

Absolutely superb lighting in the image, and the detail captured throughout is amazing. Your choice of POV allows us to get an excellent and diverse view of the interior architecture....arhes, staiway, domed ceiling, chandelier and ballastrade.....you got it all. Wonderful....well done.

Beh, Stefano,
quando ti ci metti ci batti tutti in composizione!
Non solo c'è una luce divina, e già questo rende attraente la foto, ma il gioco delle linee, geometrie, incastri, archi, prospettive é davvero notevole. E tutto splendidamente a fuoco tanto che le colonne, i capitelli e le balaustre sambrano in sbalzo.

Immagine di architettura ricchissima di dettaglio (non mi meraviglia il voto di Grant Parnell, autore di splendide immagini delle moschee). Hai rimediato alle molte linee non verticali allineando la foto sul sostegno del lampadario. Basta e avanza.
