La Rocca di Castell'Arquato, a mediavel village in province of Piacenza (Emilia Romagna) that is rich of these places.
Il Registrum Magnum di Piacenza fissa l’inizio della sua costruzione al 1342,quando dominava Luchino Visconti.

La torre più alta era un importante punto di osservazione tra la Pianura Padana con Milano e le pendici degli Appennini che portano fino al mare.

Great contre-plongée, spectacular! The Castello looks impressive! Blue vivid sky and those birds admiring the monument...

Hi Gae,
fantastic architecture under the deep blue sky...like the play of light & shadow over the textured decayed wall around the windows...the flying birds in deep blue sky add a great dynamism here...
great chosen POV...very good light management with nice color contrast & sharpness...
