Photo taken in the superb park of Kilkenny's castle.
Sure in Ireland, never to forget his umbrella but it's possible to see incredible lights after or before the rain.

Great, great, great shot Patrice. One of the better ones I've seen in awhile on here. The contrast between the vibrant greens, and the dark clouds in the background are amazing. Especially when you consider the sunlight in the foreground...

The individual with the umbrella really perfects the photo, where you placed them in the perfect spot.

Not really a critique, more of a compliment on a great photo.

A really inventive, an intriguing and beautiful photo - and an a bit funny one! The contrast between the sunlit grass and this threatening sky is more than amazing. An allover worth-seeing shot!

Ouais... Toujours trimballé son parapluie, mais surtout, sa caméra!!!

C'est vraiment bien fait cette image, avec des effets spéciaux naturels, gracieuseté de mère nature. Ce petit parapluie dans ce grand cadre, ça me plaît beaucoup!

Du vert à profusion et de gros nuages gris, ça sent l'Irlande ! J'aime beaucoup la qualité de ton cadrage avec ce personnage isolé qui semble bien petit dans ce paysage. J'aime beaucoup également la douceur des courbes.

I always thought that the contrast one can catch between the greeery and black dark cloud can turn out to be the most photographic and eye-soothing one. You proved the same. Excellent one. The figure with umbrella has made this a gem.

Une superbe lumiere comme seules savent nous offrir les frontieres d averses. Une belle gestion de l exposition avec un vert bien lumineux et surtout cette silhouette tres cinematographique qui nous permet de nous offrir une histoire a partir d une seule image.

Hello Patrice,
A great picture, really well observed. The light green of the lawn matches the grey sky perfectly and the little person with the umbrella is perfectly placed on the horizon. It would have been very good even without the trees, but they add a bit of variety and dynamism to the composition.

Hello Patrice.
Great advice for Ireland, even in Summer. I remember cycling around the Dingle peninsula about 30 years ago in mid-summer, and it did not stop raining. Your photo is dramatic, with the dark sky and sunlit area of grass. Great composition showing the single small figure on the left, and the huge trees on the right. If it isn't already raining on the man it will do so in a moment or two! Lovely photo, well done.

En dehors de la qualité technique de premier ordre (netteté , contraste) , cette composition est vraiment du grand art . Il fallait savoir profiter de ce ciel et de cette lumière fantastique pour faire ce cadrage avec le personnage .

J'aime le contraste entre les nuages menaçants et l'homme tout petit, mais aussi entre le vert des arbres et ce ciel d'un gris de plomb

Une image presque en clair obscur. La présence de la personne au parapluie rappelle que la pluie n'est pas loin. J'aime beaucoup le joli contraste qu'apporte ce partie verte illuminée au premier plan.

J'adore ce petit nain et son parapluie aussi gris que le ciel. Tes contrastes de lumières autour de ces deux couleurs, le vert et le gris, sont magnifiques.

Un résultat percutant avec un contraste de couleurs fantastique. La compo est forte, avec la démesure qui éclate ici, non seulement à travers la menace de l'orage qui est challengée par le soleil, mais aussi avec les arbres élancés comme des sentinelles, qui semblent écraser par leur présence la silhouette qui se détache à l'horizon. Excellent timing! Félicitations!
