Photographer's Note

Sarsfield bridge, built around 1827 is one of Limerick's bridges. A destroyed statue to a local man lost in the Crimean War was was replaced by a statue comemmorating the Easter Rising of 1916. Graceful lamp-posts adorn the walls of the bridge. (wikipedia.org)

Picture was taken on the day of the memorable Six Nations 2007 rugby match between Ireland and England (43:13) during its first minutes. Brilliant sky colours forced me to stay outside a local sports pub, so I missed first Irish points :-|
