Not far from the Cliffs of Moher is the village of Liscannor where we stayed for our week in County Clare. Across the road from where we stayed was a good music pub but the most prominent feature in town was this old tower house (yes - another!). It dates from the 14th century and survived reasonably intact until a storm in 1996 demolished the NE corner.
In the workshop are 2 more photos from around Liscannor, one of a ruined church interior and the other of a very battered old house.
