Arrival in Iceland

Finally time to pick up the thread and upload new photos on TrekEarth.
During my trip with Lars through Canada and the USA, processing the hundreds of photos and making a Facebook report for the home front took too much time to be active on TE too.
Also the heatwave in the Netherlands did not stimulate me to sit at the computer.
Now hopefully better times for TrekEarth-activities will come. Another 4 days of painting in France early next week and then I hope to upload new photos regularly and admire and comment on all your beautiful pictures again.

Today my arrival in Iceland. Specifically, the arrival of the M / S Norröna in the fjord at Seyðisfjörður. An amazing blue sky that we never saw again during our stay in Iceland.
If you want to see more of this place you can try the t.v. series "Tapped". In this thrilling crime story, the ship and the city are the harsh, wintry background for the story.

■ Workshop 1: ◙ Seyðisfjörður in the distance, Arriving on schedule
■ Workshop 2: ◙ This is why they call it Iceland
■ Main picture: ◙ An almost perfect reflection

I add the dark frame to the picture to give the posts a screen format of 1920x1080 pixels
The idea is that, if you use the links in the text, you have a full screen image of the picture with the photo in the centre of a dark screen.
This works with the browsers and screens I use, but I’m not sure that everybody will have the same result.
