I think that nowhere in Iceland I had that feeling of loneliless, even in the highlands deserts. In front of you, behind the fjord, covered by the snow, the Hornstrandir.

After a very long and slow drive from Latrabjarg, it was allready late, and we were willing to the cosy Heydalur farm and its hotpots..

This is a magnificent barren landscape. Your photograph is beautifully composed, and the colours appear natural and true, even if you have bumped up the drama in the sky a tad: that's entirely sensible, and what we often used to do in the darkroom. Hands dodging the land, and burning in the sky. Those were the days! Lovely work.
