Some of the rhyolite mountains in the landmannalaugar region, taken from the steep way leading to the top of Blahnjukur. A magic place in iceland.

beautiful indeed!
We were in Iceland in March..so it wasn't a good time to venture into this area of the country do to the snow and ice....we want to go back in the summer to go HERE!
awesome photo with that all important magical lighting.

quelle magnifique photo. La lumière et le contraste mettent superbement ces montagnes en valeurs. La neige donne un effet surnaturel et le ciel froid contraste incroyablement avec les teintes ocres. Toutes mes félicitations.

what a shot! Very good one. The light management in this shot is incredible. Razor sharp. Like the contrasting brown-white-deep blue combination. A shot which can be stay in mind for a long time... Tfs.

Wow, quelle lumière tu as captée sur ce fabuleux endroit ! Le ciel lourd qui porte ses ombres sur les montagnes encore enneigées du Landmannalaugar crée une atmosphère dramatique à couper le souffle qui rend le paysage presque irréel ! J'y suis passé quelques jours après toi (il y a une semaine en fait) mais la neige avait en grande partie fondu sur ces montagnes.
