In the Snaefellsness peninsula, this superb pyramid: the Kirkjufell. After some heavy rain in the morning, strong winds bring back the sun at the good moment. This photo is a classic.. TO find this point of view, it is needed to take some back-roads, not so easy to find...

Bonjour Yves,
such a wild, fascinating and mysterious place. I like very much the moody colours and atmosphere, the sense of space and the way you are portraying the textures of this enchanting place. There's great suggestion in your photo and if the bright spots far away on the right are cottages, the depth and the sense of scale are awesome. I like how the dynamism of the waterfall interrupts the calmness of the vast scenery. Congratulations and thank you!

Bonjour Yves,
Un des sites les plus photographiés en Islande mais qui fait partie des coins que je n'ai pas eu encore l'occasion de découvrir. Mais je compte bien le faire un jour ! Excelent point de vue, beaux jeux de lumière, beau rendu des détails dans le ciel nuageux. L'effet de filé sur la cascade est très réussi et la netteté est parfaite.
