Photographer's Note
We continue on the Kaldidalur track road and make a short break bottom of Langjökull glacier. This glacier is about 1,000 kilometres square, which makes it the second biggest of Iceland. It is the only one that is still growing, a few hundred metres on last 30 years. It is very easy to get there by car because a track road starting from Kaldidalur road drives you to a small settlement bottom of the glacier. From there you can drive on the glacier in 4 WD vehicles made for glaciers. You can also discover the glacier with sled dogs.
